  • Thaw the Steak: Allow the frozen ribeye steak to thaw slowly in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Before cooking, let the steak reach room temperature by setting it out for about 30 minutes. 
  • Preheat the Pan or Grill: For a pan, choose a high-quality cast iron skillet for the best heat retention. For a grill, ensure the grates are clean and the temperature is high. Aim for a preheat temperature of around 230°C to achieve a beautiful sear.
